SPECTATOR  INFO

HDAY is a family-friendly event.

We promote all of our events to be family-friendly and all children ages 11 and under get in FREE with a paying adult!

*Kids ages 11 and under will not need a spectator ticket at the event*

Spectators are NOT permitted to bring in pit bikes, golf carts, scooters, bikes, hoverboards, skateboards, ATVs, or anything on wheels. This is strictly enforced

Children are NOT permitted to operate anything on wheels unless they are 16 or older with a valid driver’s license. (This includes bicycles, etc.)

PARKING

Free general parking will be available in the Raceway’s property for passenger vehicles. 

Preferred parking for spectators will be available for purchase online. The preferred parking lot is located closest to the entrance gate on the spectator side of the track.

ARRIVAL INFO

Based on previous years, starting on the night before the event, there are cars that start lining up at the entrance to avoid morning traffic. Traffic to enter the raceway is the heaviest on Sunday morning and traffic to the track begins as early as 5am.

The Gates will be open at 9am on Friday, 8am on Saturday and 7am on Sunday.

Strict Rule: No pit vehicles (ATVs, golf carts, scooters, bikes) are allowed in Camper Village. RVs are NOT permitted in the general Spectator Lots; violators will be towed at the owner's expense.

SUITE RENTAL

Experience the excitement of drag racing in your own private suite during the world’s largest Honda/Acura event in the country! Each suite has seating for 21 people with a prime starting line view and includes 5 keycards for entry, use of reserved restrooms in the tower and is furnished with tables for catering, sink, small refrigerator, adjustable PA speakers, and a dimmer system for the lights to enhance nighttime viewing. The rental fee is $800 for the weekend plus admission for each person in your group. To book your suite please call 301-884-9833 today, as there is a limited quantity available.

FOOD

You are permitted to bring food and drinks to the event. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase at concession stands throughout the event.

ARE COOLERS ALLOWED? Yes – Coolers are restricted to 14” and no glass bottles are allowed.

This event is strictly for Honda and Acura makes and models.

All car show tickets are available online and only a very limited quantity will be available at the gate during the event.

All Hondas and Acuras can enter the car show.

*Judged and Non-Judged Car Show Participants that arrive on Friday will be parked in the first pit-side grass lot while we complete event set up and racer move-in. Those participants that arrive on Friday will be asked to leave the pit-side area Friday night for facility maintenance and clean-up. However, participants that have checked-in and have their credentials will be able to enter through the green gate Saturday and Sunday morning from 6am-9am and avoid the long lines at the main gate. On Saturday and Sunday, participants will be separated into their designated parking area for the remainder of the event.

CAR SHOW INFO

FRIDAY = HDAY CAR MEET

Approved VIP entries will be able to park inside the HDAY show area on Friday. HDAY Judged Car Show and Non-Judged Car Show entries will be able to park in the general parking lot. There will be no judging of car show vehicles on Friday. It will be more of an HDAY car meet with the VIP cars that attend. Please remember that if you purchase a 3-DAY Judged Car Show or 3-DAY Non-Judged Car Show ticket, you will be able to enter on Friday and spectate at NO additional cost. Come out and enjoy the day with us!

SATURDAY = TOP 100 CAR SHOW & LOW CAR LIMBO

HDAY judges will award the top 100 cars competing in the car show. Competitors arriving after 2pm will be exhibition only for Saturday. Awards will be presented at approximately 4:30pm at the main stage.

The low car limbo competition will be open to car show competitors only. There is no additional charge to enter the limbo once your car is entered to compete in the Top 100 Car Show.

Sign-up for the limbo will be at the event at Car Show Central.

SUNDAY = FULLY-JUDGED CAR SHOW

Over 30 classes with awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each class. Competitors arriving after 12pm will be exhibition only for Sunday. Awards will be presented at approximately 5pm at the main stage.

• Car Show Trailers: To maximize display space for our beautiful show cars, we ask that you do not haul show cars on trailers.
If a trailer is required, you must unload in the designated area on the entrance road and park the trailer in the designated trailer lot on the spectator side. Car Show Trailers are NOT allowed inside the pit area.

• Music & Noise Courtesy: Help us keep MIR a welcome part of the community!
• Quiet Hours: Music must be kept low between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM to respect our neighbors.
• During the Event: Please keep music at a volume that allows racers to hear critical P.A. announcements and staging calls.

*REGISTRATION IS ONLY REQUIRED FOR THE VIP AREA OF THE CAR SHOW.

After submission of your car for entry into the VIP car show, please be patient. With hundreds of entries, it may take up to a couple of weeks to hear back from the HDAY team. For any specific questions regarding the VIP Car Show, please contact ogs1320info@gmail.com.

If accepted to be part of the VIP Car Show, you will receive a confirmation email along with a link to purchase your ticket along with any other additional tickets and merchandise. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR EMAIL IS CORRECTLY SPELLED IN ORDER TO RECEIVE YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL AND TICKET PURCHASE LINK. 3 days out from the event, you will receive an email from Team HDAY with information on roll-in details and any other pertinent information for the event weekend.

CAR SHOW ELIGIBILITY

Only Hondas and Acuras are allowed to compete in the Car Show.

The HDAY Staff reserves the right to be selective in regards to the vehicles that are permitted to enter the cars show. The following types of vehicles are NOT permitted:

– No vehicles that are under construction

– No “For Sale” vehicles

– No vehicles that do not have a full set of wheels (no donuts)

– No primered vehicles

– No vehicles that were clearly in an accident

– No vehicles with multiple colored exterior body panels (I.E. doors and fenders different color than the rest of the car)

**If you purchase a car show participant ticket, we ask that you do not violate any of the above mentioned regulations. If you do purchase a car show ticket and violate any of these rules, you will not receive a refund. NO EXCEPTIONS.

CAR CLUBS

Car Clubs may park together only in the event that all members drive in together. There will be no saving spots for friends, car crew members, family etc… Please keep in mind that there may still be instances where due to spacing, all members of a car club or crew may not be able to park together. These situations may arise and the decision in regards to parking will be made solely by HDAY staff.

SOUND SYSTEMS

There will be a separate “Sound Zone” in the car show for cars/trucks that want to turn on their sound systems. Sound systems are not permitted to be turned on in areas outside of the “Sound Zone”.

DRIVING AROUND

With the amount of attendees at the event, we only permit racecars to drive in the pit area for the safety of our attendees. All show cars must remain parked after our parking staff parks your vehicle in its designated spot.

TENTS IN CAR SHOW AREA

Tents are restricted to the space that the car is in and must be secured safely to avoid injury or damage to other vehicles. The tent cannot take up any additional space. The tent must not promote a sponsor or manufacturer. HDAY and the hosting dragway cannot be held liable for any damage caused by your tent.

* ATTENTION RACERS: THURSDAY – Gates open from 3 p.m.-10 p.m. to racers only for parking and tech.

FRIDAY-SUNDAY: Gates open at 9 a.m. for Racers. Tech is open from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Test Session for racers. From 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. -  Heads-Up Racers get one test pass during that time.

Bracket racers are allowed unlimited test passes.

From 5 P.M. - 7 P.M. - 1st Qualifying  round for heads up racers and index racers

DRAG RACING RULES

All cars must have a Honda or Acura engine.

Tickets will only be available for purchase online (no race tickets will be sold at the gate).

Racers can only race in 1 class.

Any racers who do not have a Honda/Acura (but has a Honda/Acura engine) can only race in the bracket or index class.

All SFWD and All-Motor racers must bring your own sealed cans of approved fuel. Refer to CLASS RULES for more fuel info.

DRAG RACING PARKING INFO

*Racers towing their race cars are highly encouraged to park between 3pm-8pm (sharp) on Thursday 4/9. Racers who park on Thursday must purchase all additional tickets when they enter.

Pit Vehicles: *Racers: Permitted one pit vehicle per entry. It MUST arrive in the same transport vehicle as the race car.

Spectators: NOT PERMITTED to bring any pit vehicles (ATVs, golf carts, electric/kick scooters, or bikes).

RV INFO

We do not encourage the use of RVs by participants to attend the event. Due to the limited amount of space, there is a $150 parking fee per RV that will be charged by Maryland International Raceway.

Competitors in the All-Motor and SFWD class are allowed 1 RV per team (even if the team has multiple race cars) at no additional cost (*you must have competed in the All-Motor or SFWD class at a previous OGS1320 event). All RVs that are not in All-Motor or SFWD will be subject to a $150 RV parking fee by Maryland International Raceway. The driver will redeem the RV pass upon arrival and leave the pass at Will Call.

One RV is permitted per racer entry and must fit entirely within your assigned pit space.
Arrival: The RV must arrive and enter at the same time as the racer. An additional fee applies at the gate.
Rentals: If your RV is being delivered, the driver must have a ticket to enter the facility. To avoid fees, you may meet the driver off-property and drive the RV in yourself.
